How We Communicate With Parents
At SOMOS, we believe that open, consistent communication builds trust and supports every child’s success. We keep parents closely connected to their child’s learning journey with clear, simple, and meaningful updates throughout the year.
1. Regular WhatsApp Updates
Parents receive photos, highlights, and summaries of what the children explored, created, and learned. It’s a window into the classroom and a way to stay engaged with your child’s daily experiences.
2. Parent Meetings
As needed, we sit down together to discuss your child’s progress, strengths, challenges, and goals. These conversations give space for reflection, questions, and shared planning.
3. Report Cards Each Term
Families receive detailed report cards outlining academic growth, skill development, and emerging competencies. We focus on strengths, next steps, and individualized progress—not comparison.
4. Open-Door Communication Philosophy
We welcome parent questions, conversations, and collaboration at any time. You can speak with teachers, share concerns, or celebrate growth whenever needed. At SOMOS, you’re not just informed—you’re included.
